The issues that lead to health related diseases due to food inequity
Food equity is very important in our daily lives. The food we eat gives our body the ability to perform and function properly. If a person experiences food inequity the metabolic processes suffer and the health declines. But because food inequity can also mean an overconsumption of food, if we have too much or if we have food that is not giving our bodies the right ‘information’ there are very high risks of becoming overweight, undernourished, and at risk for the development of diseases and conditions such as: arthritis, diabetes and heart disease.
